A Sunni cleric said the massive turnout in February 26 elections in Iran will bring more glory to the country and strengthes the Islamic Republic system around the world.
Molavi Mohammad Ali Shahnavazi said on Tuesday that Iranians, Shia and Sunni Muslims, have repeatedly proved their support for the Islamic Republic since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
By massive participation in Majlis and Assembly of Experts elections, they will make the enemies disappointed, he said in this southeastern Iranian province.
He further described the forthcoming elections as a symbol of national solidarity.
